Every time you use AI slop in your game, even as a placeholder, even if it's supposed to be temporary, you're helping to destroy the video game industry little by little.

10yo filled in a "mental wellbeing" questionnaire at school. A few of her answers:

Something that makes me feel happy: 'My cats'
A place that makes me feel happy: 'At home with my cats'
Something helpful I do to cope when times are tough: 'Hug my cats'
What have I learnt: 'I am happiest with cats'

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, WE NEED TO ACT LIKE IT!
We are not standing down.

Every day, local community defense groups are still:
Keeping watch at Defense Centers
Supporting families & id'ing those taken
Coordinating observation shifts & rapid response networks throughout the city

Don’t think ppl understand the terror the Feds are unleashing on the streets of LA right now. Roving patrols targeting vulnerable individuals. It’s horrible.

There’s no one coming to save us except ourselves.
The past week+ has been really intense in Los Angeles. We need all of the help, support, & attention we can get. Feds are literally roving the streets snatch & grabbing vulnerable individuals. It's horrific. We need to do more.
Feds are once again ruthlessly targeting ktown & adjacent areas. This is getting really intense. We need to do more.

New on Knock: Both the Palisades and Eaton Canyon fires caused massive damage, but race and proximity to power shaped how first responders and local government showed up.

And they still will nuke your job and your entire desk in the name of capital consolidation and kissing the fucking ring

New from me: The police are defunding our cities. In LA, LAPD’s growing liability lawsuits are costing taxpayers millions of dollars in payouts. $400m in payouts since 2019. The biggest culprits: protests, police shootings, and car collisions. More👇

i don't click on new york post articles but i can't honestly say it's because of any principled stand. it's because it has so many ads that if you let it all load the page weight is around 2 gigs. you could load one article claiming that sidewalks are bad or you could run about 500 copies of doom
