These so called leftists sure hate doing things to protect others.

"I INVOKE MY RIGHTS TO SILENCE AND COUNSEL AND WILL NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS WITHOUT MY ATTORNEY PRESENT."

If you're in the United States, that is ALL you should EVER say to law enforcement besides asking if you're being detained, and identifying yourself in a stop and ID state.

One way I have found to mourn someone is to set up a monthly sustaining donation to a mutual aid effort they cared about. If you can join me in honoring Alice Wong, @sfdirewolf.bsky.social with a sustaining donation today, please do. Thank you Alice, and I will not let the bastards grind me down.

wearing a mask in, at the very least, public indoor spaces (grocery stores, pharmacies, transit, healthcare) is one of the most basic forms of allyship you can offer disabled people you’re forced share space with.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

I’ve been reading Sarah’s work since I was in college (we overlapped in St. Louis!) and she’s been extremely helpful in articulating and clarifying not just the interpersonal dynamics that have led to All This but also the broader systemic trends that must politics people ignore
I was suspended right before the Epstein emails were released. If the BlueSky search engine works, you will find a wealth of posts from me about the people in those emails, who I wrote about in my books HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT and THEY KNEW. This is the work I feared would be erased on Twitter.

very cool that even when you’re lucky enough to have insurance you still have to pay for expensive procedures yourself and just hope you’ll get reimbursed

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

For the record, this is why it's inaccurate to suggest that the NY Times is just transiently and in good faith wrong on trans issues. They embarked on their hate campaign specifically because they were already in the paedophile class and their other friends in the paedophile class told them to.
@nytimes.com caught red handed. Journalism is a sham. They were in the tank for Trump. Never give them a cent.
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?

Jeffrey Epstein advised Steve Bannon that the lawyers representing Brett Kavanaugh in his confirmation hearing should accuse Christine Blasey Ford of being on medications that cause false memories or memory loss.

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

Just remember as you see all these politicians rushing to say "Bernie was right, we should be like Bernie" that a few weeks ago, Bernie was praising Trump on immigration. Oh, and Bernie voted to confirm Marco Rubio.

NONE of the Senate Democrats are good enough. NONE. OF. THEM.

Some people thought that genocide should be a red line for a party's politics. If both parties think that it isn't, why is anything else not on the table? Why wouldn't they collude on anything else horrible?
Calling the Democrats “cowards” suggests that they're scared to do what's right when they show no fervent interest in being an opposition. They're largely colluders, not cowards. Many want their base to think they're cowards to maintain investment in the idea that they can be pushed to do better.

What we are seeing is a replay of the surrender on Covid protections because it was going to impact the wealth class in a way that would make it harder to accrue wealth without consequences.

Liberals already made the choice to kill millions to maintain the wealth class status quo.
Maybe important to note it was the disruption in air travel that Democrats couldn't stand and not, you know, 40+ million people not knowing where their next meal was coming from.

Neoliberal centrism cannot be allowed to take any kind of control of this narrative and the response to what we are experiencing. Ice, dhs, cbp all have to be destroyed and their leaders and foot soldiers imprisoned at a minimum.

so by my count DC will have non-incumbents running for Wards 1 (Nudeau is retiring), 3 (Pinto is running for Norton’s position), and 4 (JLG is running for mayor), 2 of the At-large seats (White is running for Norton’s position and McDuffie maybe for mayor), and hopefully mayor and delegate in 2026 👀
