I watch entirely too many movies, pet entirely too many cats, hate just the right amount of fascists, and break too many rules of threes. I came here for the same reason you did.
Julianne Moore, Wong Kar Wai AND a focus on hotel-based movies? Man, I love the Criterion Channel’s curation. What a gift this service and its peeps continue to be.
✨Announcing our December 2025 Criterion Channel lineup! ✨

Next month, make yourself at home in some of cinema’s most memorable hotels, celebrate Julianne Moore’s bracingly human performances, or explore the trailblazing debuts of Black women filmmakers.

There is a very good reason why internal policies are internal, and it's because griefers are VERY good at testing the boundaries of the system until they're confident they can be as abusive as they want and still remain one millimeter away from the point at which they will be removed.

I sometimes genuinely do wish people could have the experience of seeing what gets reported and taken down so they could viscerally understand what an unmoderated space on the internet looks like, because however bad you can imagine it is, the reality is far worse.

Toronto is one of my fave food places, because it has an infinite range of culinary cultures and the food only gets better the more mom-and-pop hole-in-the-wall the setup is
What cities had the best food that you've been to?

My feelings on Fail Safe vs Strangelove are total sacrilege so I will not say them aloud. But real ones know
Fail Safe vs Strangelove is one of those Manhunter vs Silence of the Lambs situations

Fling DHS and everyone in it directly into the sun
DHS confirmed it has stopped automatically storing officials' text messages.

Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

This team, man. Absolute kings out there, and win or lose, it has been incredible to watch them play this season.

My god, I love this team. Absolutely incredible run, first through the Yankees, then the Mariners, and going toe to toe with the Dodgers in a way nobody saw coming. What a goddamn series this has been.
TORONTO BLUE JAYS FOR THE WIN

The Toronto Blue Jays take two of three from the defending World Series champions in their home stadium. It’s a dominant 6-1 Game 5 victory.

The Jays are coming home to Canada 🇨🇦 with the chance to win the World Series on Friday. Buckle up folks.

So glad the Jays could accommodate him on this a bit better tonight

The Jays are learning the best way to escape ungodly terrible LA umping is to just hit the ball

I’m a Jays guy and part of the reason I’m thrilled about this World Series is to watch how Ohtani’s mere presence is changing the game around him.

The guy is a beast and a pleasure to watch! You can’t hate this guy!

LA umps throwing the game early huh

Not happy about the outcome of this World Series game but I 100% have to hand it to Yamamoto. Singularly incredible pitching performance.

Ah yes, the classic 6th-inning Jonas Bros stretch
October 26, 2025 at 1:33 AM
Did…did this just happen? I’m a Jays fan but fully expected this to be a one-sided pummeling by the Dodgers. There’s still a lot of games to go but…man, incredible.

I love this team, folks
9 runs are the 3rd-most in a #WorldSeries inning, behind only:

1968 DET G6, 3rd
1929 PHA G4, 7th

With 10 each
