I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

I will have to keep sharing until things change, and active job seeking for an old native with serious disabilities is not easy. But I am doing it anyway. I will give 10 years of living for 5 harder ones where the kids can be raised. 💕🪶

Yes, I'm fucking afraid. But I'm also remembering who I was for 13 years. I wore the uniform of this country, took up arms to defend it, and went to war with the army. We now face a new threat, an American threat. It keeps me awake at night, but I swore my loyalty to this land and its people. 🍁

The terrifying reality in which we live. We cannot head off the full might of the US military, but by god, we can make them suffer for every inch of Canadian soil. What we saw in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion sets a blueprint for how to bring down an empire. Let's hope it never happens.
