I hate the infusions, but I live for the results! 🧡

That battle alone was devastating for Canada, and Canadian football. Jerry Fitzgibbons was a star for the Calgary Tigers, and was the heart and soul of the team from its earliest days. His loss must have been crushing for the future of the team, and hard for the development of the sport in Calgary.

I'll still never forget the one ramp ceremony I attended in Trenton after I finished my Ph 4 back in Dec '08. I thought ahead and made sure to bring my DEUs with me as I drove to Shilo for my first posting. Only problem was, 2Lt dumbass sent my gabardine to Shilo through CMTT... I feel this 😂

I'm proud of my service, and proud to have stood with giants. Now it's my place to remember the ones who are no longer with us, either through combat, or long after the last round was fired. When every day is Remembrance Day, Nov 11 is particularly hard. Thank you for your thoughts. 🧡

Still remember making the phone call to Ottawa on the morning of July 6 saying that we no longer held battle space, and that handover to ARTIC WOLVES had been completed, and that consolidation operations were underway. Surreal, making the phone call to say that 5 years of bloody combat was over.

Have him visit both, that way we can have a historic double loser situation...
