Super queer. AuDHD. Leftist. Ancient millenial. Multiply disabled. Salty but hopeful.
All of this compliance in advance is disgusting and, frankly, anti-American. WNET should be ashamed of themselves.

How does someone who is a cane user and can't walk far, AuDHD, trans, monolingual, has only high school education, and can only do a full time desk job leave the United States permanently?

@acluofmichigan.bsky.social What is being done to protect marriage equality in MI if Obergefall is overturned? Representative Morgan's bill is unlikely to get the 2/3 majority needed to get on the ballot/pass out of committee. What can be done now to protect our future?

GAY TIMES on Instagram: "NFL star Khalen Saunders is opening an LGBTQIA+ friendly football camp for youth 🏳️‍🌈🏈 Set to launch 5 July in partnership with GLAAD and the NFL Pride Football Combine, the initiative has been hailed as one the first of its kind. Saunders, who is currently the New Orleans Saints defensive tackle, made the announcement at the 2025 GLAAD Awards, and elaborated further about the camp during an appearance on Good Morning Football. “"Being an ally is more than just saying I support, but it's also showing up," said the star, who is the brother of Taylor Swift’s backing dancer Kameron Saunders. "Being in the NFL is very male-dominant and heterosexual dominant and it feels as though there's not really a space for the LGBTQ community." During Super Bowl week, Saunders attended the NFL-sponsored Pride Football Clinic alongside Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride, who is the first-ever NFL player to be raised by two mothers. "I was able to go out there and get to talk to some of the people participating in it and, man, it was great conversations," Saunders said. "These are people that feel they have to be hidden. And although they love the sport, they might love the NFL, they might love football in general as a sport, they kind of shy away from it because of orientations or other outside things." He continued: “That’s my goal, to continue to spread positive energy around that because football is for everybody. Football is for all.” With the Trump administration rolling back rights for LGBTQIA+ people in sports, particularly trans people, and purging diversity and inclusion programs, it's never been more important to have allies like Khalen Saunders 👏 📝 @samdamshenas"

The right thing to do becomes glaringly obvious when you stop asking, "But what will he do next?" and switch to thinking:

"What can I do right now that will make his harms less damaging? What do people need to keep safe?"

If it was done in defiance of a judges order the technical term for that is "illegal" which means it's not an arrest and deportation - which require those conducting it to at least presume they are acting within the law - but a kidnapping and human trafficking

Democrats built their entire party structure on polite deference, seniority, and chasing bipartisanship—as opposed to elevating the most talented and passionate politicians.

...Leaving too many pale, stale (and, frankly, male) lawmakers in prominent positions.
Primary Every Democrat
It’s exhausting to watch poll-tested, donor-beholden congressional Democrats continue to be too old, too cloistered, and too bumbling to do anything as the government burns.

these terminations are good evidence that this is just wanton destruction by deranged ideologues. there is no rhyme or reason other than whatever makes sense to a bunch of zoomer nazis and their bosses and enablers
The U.S. has two tsunami warning centers, both operated by NOAA. Employees were terminated from these centers today. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center covers Hawaiʻi, and now it is less safe to be near the beach.

This is a de facto genocide of disabled Americans.
House Republicans just voted to gut Medicaid, which covers 1 in 5 Americans overall, including 41% of births and 63% of nursing home care.

They also just voted to gut SNAP, on which 41 million food insecure Americans rely.

This won’t just harm people. This will kill people.

They own this.
