@frost.house.gov
Congressman representing Central Florida / Orlando (FL-10)
We refuse to let Central Florida become home to another ICE detention facility. Our taxpayer funds should not be used to build internment camps for our neighbors.

@repdarrensoto.bsky.social and I are calling on DHS and ICE to abandon this cruel plan. I will keep fighting to protect our community.

Last night, a federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump Administration’s cruel attempt to terminate Temporary Protected Status for Haitians.

I joined @pressley.house.gov to file a discharge petition to force a vote on extending TPS for Haitians because temporary relief isn’t enough.

Last week, I stood with Haitian leaders at a press conference to sound the alarm about ending TPS. Today, a federal judge temporarily blocked that decision.

This is an important step, but not a permanent one. I will keep fighting for lasting protections so families are safe, not targeted.

Yesterday I partnered with @HSNCFL for the annual Point-In-Time (PIT) Count happening right now in Orlando and in communities nationwide. This count helps determine funding for Continuum of Care programs, like @HSNCFL, that do incredible work to uplift those experiencing homelessness.

Last night, I was assaulted by a man at Sundance Festival who told me that Trump was going to deport me before he punched me in the face. He was heard screaming racist remarks as he drunkenly ran off. The individual was arrested and I am okay.

Another citizen has reportedly been killed by federal agents in Minneapolis. This is what happens when cruelty is normalized and accountability is absent. No one should die at the hands of immigration enforcement.

Enough is enough. ICE is lawless and should not exist.

I'm a HELL NO on today's DHS and ICE funding vote.

One year into Trump’s presidency, Florida families are paying $1,342 more as the cost of food, housing, health care, and utilities keeps rising.

Republicans broke their promises, and families are stuck with higher bills. I’m not backing down — and I’ll keep fighting to make life more affordable.

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose courage reshaped our nation. His call for justice still demands action here in Central Florida and across the country.

When the stakes are high and the path feels uncertain, Dr. King’s legacy reminds us that progress is possible.

We won't be gaslit about what we saw with our own eyes. An ICE agent killed Renee Nicole Good in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Minneapolis.

We must honor her life with action and fight to end ICE's campaign of terror on our communities and on our people.

The video evidence is clear: An ICE agent murdered a woman in Minnesota.

This is the direct result of Donald Trump unleashing ICE to terrorize our communities.
