Trump’s reckless tariffs are driving holiday prices up 26%, leaving fewer gifts under the tree and more out of your pocket.

Once again, working families are left paying the price for this administration's choice to put profits over people.

This weekend, we stand with the Historic Town of Eatonville as we mourn the passing of former Mayor Eddie Cole.

Mayor Cole led with love, compassion, and a deep commitment to uplifting others, serving his community for decades as a public servant, coach, and trusted leader.

At 15, I got involved in politics after Sandy Hook because I didn’t want to get shot in school.

13 years later, kids across the country carry that fear everyday.

If we’re truly the greatest nation on Earth, a bullet shouldn’t be the leading cause of death for kids.
December 18, 2025 at 6:41 PM
If House Republicans want to “protect the innocence of children,” they should ban assault weapons — not healthcare.

Instead, they’re using the power of the federal government to bully trans kids in bathrooms, schools, and now doctors’ offices.

‼️BREAKING: Our discharge petition has enough signatures. Speaker Johnson is now FORCED to bring a vote to the House floor to extend ACA tax credits.

This can’t wait. Call your Member of Congress. We must vote NOW to protect healthcare.

As Hanukkah begins and families come together, we mourn the victims of the antisemitic mass shooting in Sydney.

Hanukkah reminds us that light endures even in the darkest moments. We must continue to speak out against antisemitism and hate in the U.S. and around the world.

Another senseless and heartbreaking act of gun violence occurred today in Providence, RI.

As details continue to emerge, my heart is with the victims, their families, and the Brown University community.

It doesn’t have to be this way. We can and must end gun violence now.

The Trump Administration must really think affordability is a hoax.

As the cost of living soars, they’re ending the SAVE plan, a program that has helped 7M borrowers keep payments affordable.

We should be helping working people stay afloat, not pushing them further into debt.
Trump administration moves to remove millions of student loan borrowers from payment pause
The Trump administration announced a proposed joint settlement with Missouri that would soon force millions of student loan borrowers into repayment.

House Republicans held a “healthcare affordability” hearing featuring a buy-now-pay-later CEO whose company profits when your healthcare costs go up.

Americans don’t need performative hearings — they need Congress to extend the ACA tax credits and lower healthcare costs.
December 11, 2025 at 8:48 PM
My Republican colleagues on the Oversight Committee called a hearing on healthcare affordability while millions — including 738,000 in their own districts — are days away from massive premium spikes.

Stop the hypocrisy. We need to extend critical ACA tax credits now.

With so many of our neighbors impacted by the recent layoffs in Central FL, our team showed up at Orange County’s Career Fair & Resource Expo to support and help connect folks with the opportunities and resources they need to get back on their feet.

Central Florida kids have big dreams, and like so many of us, they care deeply about what’s going on in their community and want to be able to live a good life in it.

A huge thank you to Aloma Elementary for having me to speak to such a bright group of students!

In the richest country on the face of the earth, I believe that health care is a human right.

I spoke on the House floor about how expiring ACA tax credit will cause 189,000 Central Floridians to see their healthcare premiums skyrocket and how I’ll keep fighting to protect your care.
November 22, 2025 at 8:17 PM
Trump and House Republicans created an inflation crisis that’s cost Florida families $585 so far this year.

I’m working to lower costs, protect affordable health care, and make sure working people come first — not billionaires and mega corporations.

Today, we recognize the violence and discrimination faced by transgender people and remember those who have lost their lives to anti-trans hate.

As attacks on gender-affirming care and trans joy continue, we’ll keep standing with our trans siblings and fighting for an inclusive and safe world.

Today, I was selected to serve on two critical Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittees!

I'm looking forward to working with @transportdems.bsky.social to expand and modernize our transit systems, ease congestion, make our roads safer, and protect our planet.

I just voted YES to release the Epstein files — because the American people, and especially the survivors, deserve transparency and the full truth.
November 18, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Trump calling Republicans into the Situation Room to stop the Epstein files, then flipping when he realized he’d take a major L tells you everything.

His new DOJ investigation is just a stall tactic. We’re staying in this battle until every file is public.
