On LinkedIn…Someone posted about their latest “diverse” edu book. Took me back to my convo with their White edu celeb co-author years ago. They were offended as I asked questions about their choices in their work “centered on equity”. How the books I used with kids they’d never even heard of. Hmph.

In 2026 we gotta let go of traditional award shows. I’m an old who no longer needs that validation for art that feeds my soul. I really don’t care what they think. 🤷🏽♀️
