I sometimes help the local café out (chucking bean bags and machinery around. Testing new roasts if they let me) and so far my understanding is that they know more about chemistry and engineering than I ever will.
it's not that i ever doubted that being a barista was a skilled position, but my year-long effort to try to produce a half-decent latte at home has convinced me that a good barista is easily more skilled than virtually every c-suite executive on the planet

Still one of my favourite "throwing big sweaty iron balls around" circuits. Would love to try this with half of my bw (50ish) but we only have a 40kg after this 32kg bell and the one after that jumps all the way up to 64kg and has a diameter and handle from hell.
