Who wouldn't you want saving you? Who would embarrass you if you had to tell your friends that they picked you up on the side of the road, battered and bruised, and took you to safety? Who would you feel awkward thanking for saving your life?

That's your neighbor. Love them.

Yeah, if I bet on sports, it'd be on the Dawgs all the way
Oregon, Ole Miss and Miami would be good stories too. I expect Georgia to ruin all of them.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

Crazy question but anybody know any CFB fans in MauI? I want to watch the Sugar Bowl while I’m in Lahaina and my condo will do just fine, but there’s nothing like a cohort.

I’m always confused by people who both lean into the providence of supposed pre-ordained national superiority *and* refuse to trust God by imposing Christianity with force.

Outside of various odd jobs, I performed virtually no physical labor in my youth, and at 36, my back is constantly giving me fits. I know this is not a unique experience, so how could ANYONE have justified not paying college football players?

He did other stuff, don’t get me wrong, but this is pretty much the premise of why Rome killed Jesus.

Imagine watching Sinatra, son of Dolly & Antonini born in Genoa & Sicily, respectively, and Martin, son of Gaetano & Angela, born in Montesilvano, Italy & Ohio respectively, (Angela to parents born in Monasterolo, Italy), and crusading against the value of children of immigrants to the U.S.

Welp. The non-Christmas Eve worshippers beat us to it and that line is insane.
Very much looking forward to Mr. Chen’s after worship tonight.

a fun bit for someone with a garage and/or basement would be to put up a normal amount of christmas lights at the start of advent, and then on christmas morning you put up a sort of sandwich board counter in the yard that says

CHRISTMAS
day

with one additional lawn decoration.
