As an American, it pains me to say this, but this is correct.
The DOJ is <gone>. So if the FBI. The CDC. The Secret Service. The Supreme Court.

They are done. Nothing short of toppling whatever it is you guys currently call a government and exacting military justice on the perpetrators will ever bring back their previous reputation.

America is Russia.
Absolutely no way to read this and not conclude that the Department of Justice has been deeply corrupted. And this is from a time when career lawyers were in place, pushing back against illegality. With firings and resignations, the politicization will just get worse.

Saw this early Nicholas Winding Refn flick recently. It's about a security guard whose wife is killed at the mall where he works (Like breh, you can't even protect your own wife, why would we trust you to guard Hot Dog on a Stick?). The police can't solve it, and doing so becomes his obsession.

Hero of Tomorrow, Outlaw Brothers, Dragon Family... does every Hong Kong movie with both Max Mok and Michael Miu in prominent roles just rule, or what?

If you think The Black Hack is too bloated, you're gonna love this. Packs a lot into a small package!
What’s a TTRPG by a “small” creator that deserves WAY more love. What's its core vibe? Link to it or the creator!

As a Woo fanboy, I'll see it. But TBH I regard Cage more as a meme than anything else, and I've been underwhelmed by most of Woo's US output. Silent Night was his best since Hard Target IMO. Non-Hollywood production Manhunt was a very good almost return to form, despite its over reliance on CGI.

Freak Out (2004). Two horror nerds eagerly take in an escaped lunatic... who turns out to be a lisping, effeminate vegetarian. Can they turn him into a proper maniac? And can they control him if they do?

A favorite of mine.

Y'know what I love about Iglootree.com ? The easy thing to do would be to stock and promote indie stuff from people with huge followings; have your cake and eat it, so to speak. Instead it's a huge pile of mad books made by people who loved something.

Every #OSR fan who claims to be doing it "like they did back in the day" really isn't. Like it or not, you're operating with 50 years of game development, experience and hindsight. Even if you're young and new to OSR games, the movement itself relies on and benefits from these things.
