Enough with the portentous Death of Democracy whinging.

Enough with filling out your Autocracy Bingo Cards.

Enough with mournfully quoting Hanna Arendt.

Get together, get active, organize, #MakeGoodTrouble, fundraise, lobby, litigate, protest and fight back.
IDEA:

Buy a Ring doorbell camera.

Attach a little screen in front of it, and play a feed of your neighborhood, but with bizarre CGI creatures parading around. Like Totoro, Mister Potato Head, a werewolf in goth clothing, and the Lost in Space robot.

Watched that close to 60 years ago!

Some of those ICE concentration camps could be repurposed as deprogramming and re-education centers for ICE and DHS agents.

I’ve put a free printable PDF of the below image up on my website (from the comic ‘Goat and Sheep by the Well’). Print it out and staple it to a telephone pole, tape it up on your wall, etc. www.joshuawcotter.com/jwc-comics-a...

There will be a Smithsonian exhibit someday, "The Years of Shame," that will have a display of these letters and drawings.

I hope it includes a plexiglass cell where a Stephen Miller is imprisoned.
I've heard directly from hundreds of children at Dilley. One young girl who shared her story with me grew up in the United States and her stepfather is a U.S. citizen. She said that the guards are mean to her, she is afraid, and that she is worried she will die in detention.

Either everyone has due process or nobody has due process. It really is that simple.
BONUS RULING: Judge Thomas Johnston, a George W. Bush appoiintee in West Virginia, used a recent ruling to warn of the dangers of defying due process for immigrants because of what it could also mean for Americans. It's worth a read.

This was a TV movie, not a series! Surprised it got a lunchbox.

Age verification? I went to see "Mary Poppins" in the theater in its initial run.
Age verification? I bought a thrashed copy of Giant-Size X-Men #1, missing its back cover, out of a 25-cent bin
Age verification? I got to see Superman the Movie in the theater for free because a poem I wrote about the planet Krypton won a contest they held at Kaufmann's department store in downtown Pittsburgh.

I hate learned helplessness. ("If we do ---, they'll do ---, and we'll be doomed!" "People need to understand that there's nothing we can do!")

I see threats to the elections - bluster and real - as a huge opportunity to recruit people as poll watchers, election workers, and voter aid resources.
