Writing this this gives me an existential crisis, who am I? I teach EAP at Dundee University, teach yoga and qi gong, don't eat animals, love Scotland and love potatoes especially chips.

Please don't report Palestinian accounts that post links to their GoFundMes. Mute them or block them if you don't want to see them - but if you report them, you're potentially cutting folks off from the means to save the lives of their families. Just let 'em be.

I'm going on a work trip to China and returning via a 9 day holiday trip to Mongolia at the start of May. Anyone been there? Any insights on things to do?

What’s unfolding in Riyadh between the USG and Russia is heartbreaking for Ukraine and those who have supported Kyiv since 2022. It’s a text book example of how not to handle Putin, or any autocrat. Give them respectability and weakly cede key points from the outset. It will come back to haunt us.

Yes, the US President, who was himself found liable of rape, is now trying to lean on a sovereign country to go easy on the Tate’s, two scumbag men accused of rape and sex trafficking. Probably because Trump wasn’t involved in this alleged network, unlike Epstein, if he was they’d already be dead.

Musk, Zuckerberg and Bezos are working with Trump for one very simple reason:

They understand that Trump's policies are designed to make the wealthiest Americans even richer.

These three men have become $232 billion richer since November.

Not bad in a couple of months time!

So Trump delays tariffs on Canada and Mexico at the last minute, after the stock market and Canadian dollar tanked. Now if they rebound, anyone who had “bought the dip,” perhaps (let’s just imagine), because they knew this was going to happen, would end up with a lot more money.

Interesting.

One of the dangers in letting people like Elon Musk define "doxxing" and what's "criminal" about it is that the term is specifically being weaponized against people behaving legally in the public interest and away from actual victims of online harassment, which Elon Musk supports

#Daliban if you could post some @destiny.gg debate clips I can share with a newer, older, liberal audience, I'd appreciate it. The one where he destroys Andrew Tate did pretty well.

Imagine a world where your survival isn't tied to your job. No strings. No prerequisites. Just a birthright. UBI. Enough money to live plus free healthcare when you're ill.

Jobs? They should be about the pursuit of purpose and money for all the stuff beyond survival.

Envision it and fight for it.
