1. This is a fake problem. There aren't any trans women in NWSL. There aren't any trans women in the immediate pipeline that I'm aware of.
2. Using Banda for the cover photo here is obviously just extremely racist.

The US federal government shutdown is now so minimal of a news story that the current home page of both the @washingtonpost.com and @nytimes.com apps have ZERO STORIES OR UPDATES about it. It’s like our media no longer gives a shit about a MASSIVE thing that should not be this humdrum.
