Friendly reminder that dishwashers made after 1995 or so are so water and energy efficient that even if you ran them twice fully loaded it would still use less water than handwashing the same load.

So many "green" things feel like sacrifices. Dishwashers are not one of them.

If you'd told me that on deciding between a Predator movie and a new Lynne Ramsay movie, I'd pick the predator, I'd call you a liar, but maybe you should've made yours in 3-D, Lynne

This Death by Lightning show is very much throwing me off when I don't see the context, but maybe Jim Davis started getting ambitious and i missed it
We are watching a show about him now and are pretty sure Trump would have had Garfield thrown in jail for his beliefs on equal rights for the former slaves!!

If there's going to be James Bond continuity then I demand to learn the connection between the two allegedly different characters played by Joe Don Baker

I don't understand how the Bond people can't just have Sexy McWhiteguy look at the camera and say "This never happened to the other fella" and move on

This is one of the things I hate most about modern capitalism. The idea of making money has been fully peeled away from delivering any kind of goods or services that people would want to pay money for.

For years, advertising has been how Stereogum made money to pay its writers. While we made progress moving away from that model, Google AI search has decimated the business almost overnight. This gay bar vs zombies film has a great queer cast and a few fun performances, but unfortunately that's where it stops working for us.

God bless the beautiful and brilliant Miss Sally Kirkland.
Such a beloved friend and confidant; she came to so many of our live shows in LA; even to my kid’s 3rd birthday party. And oh the stories she had.

Thank you, Sally, for making life and art more beautiful.
