I've been experiencing something of The Moops lately, which is, of course, an entirely valid & healthy response to a vast array of issues in my life and the world. But it does lead to depressive jags that surely don't help me change what I can or even strive on goals for distraction and dopamine.

As I disembarked at my home stop, a large man stood with his back to the train, looking at his phone.
-Excuse me, I said as I maneuvered to his side, just as another guy, previously unnoticed, leapt out of the stairwell, SCREAMING in my ear, who I only then saw wore a Spider-Man costume, but [1/2]

On my last break I reused an OJ bottle by filling it up with water & sticking it in the locker room freezer, then retrieved it on my way out. When I finally reached for it while waiting for my xfer, it was not frozen solid, just an ice shell filled with cold water, and a tiny hole up top.

There’s a young southern woman on tt doing an experiment: calling churches & asking if they can help her get baby formula, saying she can’t afford it. Of the 30+ she’s called, nearly every church has said no. The ones who said yes were:

it's been quite the 24 hrs for people making choices involving me, regardless if not in direct defiance of extant agreements & stated boundaries, some potentialy costing me $
i must be jealous of their drive & focus
