I passed a little girl yesterday who was squawking a song tunelessly to herself, which I'd've assumed she made up until I heard the words "Now I'm singing" and realized it was from K-POP DEMON HUNTERS.

I thought Mike Deodato was a joke in the '90s: he drew the belly shirt-era Thor. Pheww, those stunk. He was a reheated Jim Balent on Wonder Woman.
Sometime after his run on Spider-Man he tipped over into genuinely good art: I thought his Avengers work was superb.
But no, I was right the 1st time.

I'm grappling with some deeply disappointing personal news that is both outrageously insulting but also completely understandable, ethically-speaking. It has called into question what was already my tenuous plan for my 50th birthday, leaving me so dispirited that I can't think of how to proceed.

I wish I could point & laugh, but my own cat, against any instincts allowing him to survive to his 18th birthday in Feb, periodically screamed in my face from 4 to 6 am this morning. I don't know that my next pet will be a dog, but I do know it won't be for quite a while after I'm no longer obliged.

I've said for some time that these ppl tell us their exact weaknesses in the forms of what they purport LiBrULs will do in power. I think they hope so, not because they will have been vindicated, but because it's what they really wanted all along but couldn't be known to have sought it.
I will vote for any candidate who promises to use the state to kick in republican doors and terrorize them in their homes. They’ve acted like they’ve been persecuted for decades and I think they should find out what it’s really like.

I'm self-aware enough that if a "magic nudifying program" existed when I was at an earlier stage of maturity I'd've jumped at it. But also, if I, who has consumed erotic content for most of my life, understand this is A Very Dangerous Thing, there's no excuse for the supposed braintrust of techbros.
I'm struggling right this second w/despair & anger impacting my will to do what I want to do so I can put those feelings somewhere that might not only alleviate them but also affect reality so as to make the forces causing them less powerful.

There are really Tony Stark types (no, NOT E|on) building semi-functional Iron Man suits, so the question becomes, should the need arise, will they skew for the masses? If so, how will they get anti-riot cop armor (like, vs. riot cops, not vs. riots) to trusted reps? If not, how can they be opposed?
