Balcony solar is powering apartments from Berlin to Barcelona. So why not in Australia?

Deleted a post about “what’s your least favorite song” because the vibes are bad enough already.

Instead: what’s your favorite song that has a long title, say at least 6 words long?

Mine: “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town” (Pearl Jam)

Update: 5pm Weds 4 Feb. Fire not yet under control, but due to huge efforts by EMV, FFMV, CFA++, slowed its spread.
Still at home all packed ready to go, keeping a close eye on it.
Thanks to all working tirelessly and as for the fuckhead/s who started it, string them up.
Sleepless night. Fire started few km away ~6pm last night & another south ~4am this morn.
Dogs & I ok ready to evacuate today with winds shifting/strengthening.
Tankers can't reach fire due to inaccessible terrain. FFMV used bulldozers & hand tools create fire breaks & water bombing helicopter...1/2

Being covid aware is lonely. I can handle it. What I can’t handle is watching my loved ones wake up everyday to play Russian roulette with a gun whose bullets are named cancer, heart attack, Parkinson’s, dementia and etc. And by loved ones I mean everyone.

This isn’t just “flu season.” It’s multiple pathogens circulating at once — and the harm adds up fast.

Respirator-grade masks provide respiratory protection against inhalation of airborne pathogens. Layered prevention works: masking + ventilation + filtration + testing + isolation protocols.

Trump made these new rules clear last yr. "Anyone wishing to enter the US will now have to hand over their biometric data to enter or exit the country." Is there a source to confirm this has expanded to our govt "handing access to Australians' biometric data"?

Anybody arrested or charged protesting against war criminal & president of the terrorist state of Israel Herzog - my law firm will represent you pro-bono.
He is the president of a terrorist state committing a holocaust the same way Hitler did and our despicable PM honours and invites him to our country. Sickening and unforgivable. #IsraeliNazis #FreePalestine #auspol

I was in Indonesia again for a few months this year, and it really is astonishing how little known it is in North America - despite being huge and quite pleasant, easy, and affordable to visit.
it's genuinely wild how indonesia punches under its weight online for a nation that basically contains more people than canada
Generally speaking it’s weird how the rest of the world is largely peripheral to Asia and yet it’s kinda absent from English language discourse
