Mother to two Papillon pups and one geriatric Tonkinese cat. And a couple of humans.

Keenly follows #auspol and US politics, which explains my current mental malaise. Dumbfounded by how truly horrid people can be for no reason. Just stop it!!

After the last election, the ALP recognised that the LNP were no longer a threat to them.

So, rather than take the opportunity to be truly visionary and leave a lasting legacy that will improve the lives of all Australians, they instead decided to become the new LNP and fuck the whole place over.

Why hasn’t #LNP demanded investigations when they want to apparently maintain nations

Where’s terrorism call from #ALP?

Federal police raided Dissent Bar in Canberra and stripped anti-fascist posters off the walls under Labor's brand new hate speech laws. Not a Nazi compound. A local café with political art. This is what biased laws look like in practice. 🧵

Facial recognition technology is dangerous when it works and when it doesn't.

The last thing we need is Big Tech, the government, or anyone else capturing our biometrics as we go about our lives.

Meta must not add this unreliable and invasive technology to its glasses.

About 1000 Australians commit a crime overseas every year. Around 320 are imprisoned at any one time. We never hear about it when they return - most of us never even know the crimes. Once you compete a sentence in Australia, you are released back into the community. There’s always risk.
