The Saudi regime has executed Abdullah al-Derazi, under 18 at the time of his alleged crimes, linked to him attending demonstrations against the regime.

In August, the Saudis had executed Jabal Labbad, also arrested as a minor, in his case for attending demonstrations and funerals.

Amnesty said that the execution of Abdullah was just one of a long line of executions

It has been enormously difficult to see our members at American Families United go through forced family separation. Here's the story of Jenni and her husband. "Mexican father, reflecting a trend, leaves family of 19 years and self-deports due to threat of arrest."

ChatControl cannot be created without interfering with the privacy of encrypted messaging in general. So make the ChatControl voluntary, which is completely useless for the purported goals??? And could still open the door to violations of privacy.

Vor allem hätte ich einen Vorschlag: bitte erst einmal keine weiteren neuen fossilen Subventionen einführen....🤗

Lord have mercy the Supreme Court is hearing oral argument rn in an appeal from a case I wrote about last year

it's undisputed that Damon Landor suffered a *brazen* violation of his legal rights, yet the GOP justices sound skeptical that he can actually sue the prison guards who violated his rights
Louisiana prison guards subjected Damon Landor to horrible treatment--none of the judges who heard his case dispute that

Nor do they contest the flagrant illegality of the guards’ abuse

But they're divided on whether Damon—and the courts—can do anything about it

Federal Court: Prison Guards Forcibly Shaving a Rastafarian’s Head Is Someone Else’s Problem
A Fifth Circuit decision prohibited guards from cutting Damon Landor’s hair. He gave them a copy. They literally threw it in the trash.

Oh, I love this. A new species of sea anemone was discovered recently that parks itself on top of a hermit crab shell like a hat. It seems to feed partly off the crab's faeces, but it also excretes a hard shell that extends the crab's home. In return, it's carried around the seafloor like a king.
