Is Sam Altman on drugs?
"President Trump is a very strong leader, and I hope he will rise to this moment and unite the country." Such a courageous statement from Sam Altman to OpenAI employees.

Their lies are so funny that I legitimately now think he has days to live

This is great. Zohran first tells you what the authorities are planning to do. He then tells you what you need to do to help. He advises of what compromises are necessary. Starmer take note.

(I think my MP Yuan Yang gets this and does it already and does it well. Shame her boss is useless.)
actually communicating “I’m here and I’m working for you and here’s how” is an aspect of governing that’s neglected by far too many people who think the work speaks for itself (or, frankly, don’t have the communication chops Zohran does)

this is how you combat the forces that want to make you fail

I'm just really hoping that Feathers McGraw has taken over from Paddington.
Lots of people pointing out that penguins don’t live in Greenland. But I’m taken by the fact that DJT and the penguin have identical footprints?!

This is a lovely thread. My father in law was a church warden. I must ask him if he ever was in a similar situation.
A few days ago, I stood in the graveyard of an 1100 year old church, getting damper and damper in the drizzling rain.

A woman walked into the graveyard, waved, said hello, and, as we had previously arranged, handed me a paper bag full of human bones.

The life of a churchwarden is a strange one...

I wager @readingmuseum.bsky.social is now going to deny that there is a secret network of tunnels underneath Reading.

Makes me think that this is all a conspiracy by Big Archive to hide the truth about the tunnels they want to keep to themselves..
Let's talk about the Aylesbury tunnels.
