I prefer to spend my life enjoying the rich cultural life of Britain and pay tax thanks.

But if you want to spend the finite time you have left on earth living in the bleak vacuum of Dubai, that's your loss.

Christ on a bike. I hope his parents didn't pay for his education.

This wasn't my cat, rather my late Dad's cat. This is Claude, a Saudi street kitten that adopted my Dad in 1997 and they were inseparable for the next 18 years. Claude never really liked me or my brothers. But he adored Dad, Dad adored him, he gave Dad something to live for.

I have to admit that I preferred the polar bear nearby.

That trip to Malmö is amazing. You want to be on the right hand side going to Malmö, there's a moment where the wind turbines all line up - just perfect.

Also, I'm sure you know this, but be careful crossing the roads. The cyclists are absolute speed demons.

Yeah, I think I came to the conclusion that there's a fine line between collecting and hoarding.

The article is perfect by the way. Thank you for sharing. When we cleared my late parents home, I think we overwhelmed the charity stores within a 20-mile radius. There were only so many places that wanted my Dad's cd collection and my Mom's cross stitch paraphernalia.

Also, what do I do with my late Dad's stamp collection? I suppose, charity shop again!

That reminds me that I must take those bone china tea services that were amongst my Mom's "stuff" to the charity shop.

Just timed the 1830 news on 08/11/2009. The news was two minutes exactly.

F*cking Brexit. The gift that just keeps on taking.

I mean, it fits in with the general UK vibe since 2016 of making working life that bit more grey and sh1t.

I am beginning to think that employers and the Government (Labour and Tory) are tag teaming this policy.

Also, strong "how do you do?, fellow kids?" vibes.

Having listened to my church warden F-i-L talk about the horrors he finds at his church, I sometimes think that the role of Church Warden was created to give people who'd had hectic careers something to get stressed about in their retirement.

Mind you , if the alternative to Keir is Wes then I suspect Morgan is safe....

I don't understand why it's an issue. We went from the Pierce Brosnan era to the Daniel Craig era without "M" changing and no one batted an eyelid.
It's not like any of the series is believable or realistic so I don't know why they are fretting beyond it being a bad case of buyer's remorse!
