Biggest miss of the Minecraft movie was it not having an official soundtrack composed of the most famous Minecraft parody songs re-covered by their OG artists. The actual Coldplay covering CaptainSparklez’s Fallen Kingdom could have fixed this country…

One thing that's worth noting is that when World was the company's biggest ever success, Capcom didn't just double down on Monster Hunter but revived beloved, less successful series and bankrolled some of the most original mainstream games like Kunitsu-Gami
Monster Hunter Wilds sells more than 8 million units in 3 days, fastest for a title in Capcom's history: www.rpgsite.net/news/16971-m...

Tried to organize some thoughts on the current generative AI push in video game development. What bugs me is how much executives seem to think that the human touch has no bearing on why people like games, and that players will just play ANYTHING. www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/why-w...
Why would I ever want to play a video game created by AI?
Generative AI is creeping into video game development, but there will never be a true substitute for human decision making.

Though the Ōkami sequel is still very, very early in development, we visited director Hideki Kamiya, Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, and Machine Head Works studio head Kiyohiko Sakata for a two-hour interview and asked them all we could. bit.ly/4gFmzEy

Purely coincidental, Reuters won a Pulitzer Prize for this investigation into Elon Musk:

At this point, there are only two options:

A) Elon is so dishonest that he is willing to peddle obvious lies to score PR points

B) Elon really is this stupid

It's cool that JD Vance converted to Catholicism and then the Pope had to write a letter explaining that his conscience is busted
‪Pope: "The rightly formed conscience cannot fail to make a critical judgment and express its disagreement with any measure that tacitly or explicitly identifies the illegal status of some migrants with criminality."‬

I mean yes, there is such a concept in Christianity. It appears quite notably in the letters of Paul, for instance, where it’s a concept he *relentlessly* argues against, and in the Gospel where it’s a concept Jesus very much repeatedly scorns. So it is technically in there!

Let’s call this what it is - a concentration camp. If you’re quiet on this stuff, you’re complicit.
Trump announces an executive order authorizing a 30,000 capacity migrant detention center in Guantanamo.

"Some of them are so bad we don't even trust the countries to hold them because we don't want them coming back, so we're going to send them out to Guatanamo Bay."

journalism is taught as a craft of deference. we must always “defer” to other sources because journalists are trained to have the “perspective from nowhere.” there’s no safeguard when the institutions are questionable, and the deference continues.

i don’t blame anyone for not trusting us.
At this point, the media is in on the troll right? I mean at the very least it pays to keep the “controversy” going.
