I'm doing a Reiki pilgrimage tour that is primarily focused on Kyoto, Gifu, and Taniai for the first 9 days. Then, probably Tokyo afterward for another week. Will definitely check out Shibuya!

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

The Nobel Peace Prize has lost all meaning now. This entire fiasco is so pathetic.
Trump: “It was my Great Honor to meet María Corina Machado, of Venezuela, today. She is a wonderful woman who has been through so much. María presented me with her Nobel Peace Prize for the work I have done. Such a wonderful gesture of mutual respect. Thank you María!”

One of the stories that makes me the saddest out of this ICE invasion is one out of the Minnesota Star Tribune today about ICE agents eating at a little Mexican restaurant in the small town of Willmar, Minn, —and then, when they were done, arresting some of the workers.

I just want it to be really clear, to people from out of the area, if they see pictures of fires in Minneapolis: THEY WERE STARTED BY ICE. NOT BY PROTESTERS. NOT BY RESIDENTS.
So not only are they shooting our citizens they are setting the city on fire. #MFD did respond. Someone get an Air Quality check in #Minneapolis with the volume of Flash Bangs & Chemical Irritants.
🚨BREAKING: Multiple fires have broken after ICE unleashed ANOTHER ONSLAUGHT of flash bang grenades and chemical gas at unarmed Minneapolis protesters in WAR-LIKE attack. LIVE NOW ⬇️

Imagine hearing a knock and immediately worrying about your family being taken.

You can hear the fear in his voice. Nobody should have to feel this way in their own home.

This is America right now.

If you hate ICE and if we make it out of this mess, dont vote for people who increase funding to them, or vote to have mass surveillance, or take away rights of people. That includes Democrats, many of whom are still pro ICE

Just want to stress that this was a woman who was simply trying to get to a doctor's appointment.
We are so far past the Rubicon that it isn't worth having a discussion anymore as to whether Trump is acting as an authoritarian. The only question is whether we have the strength and courage to get back to the other side.

The Hmong are here because they fought for the US in a war we lost.
"“They specifically asked me if I knew where the Hmong families lived on my street & in the neighborhood.” Lugert-Thom responded, “I don’t know anything about that” & she said they then asked, “Well, what about the Asian families?”"

"“I was a bit shaken & a bit shocked of what I was asked to do.”"
A St. Paul resident says federal officers knocked on her door and asked her to identify Hmong and Asian households in her North End neighborhood last week.

Thanks to some incredible Twin Cities and Chicago folks, we have a whistle party on Saturday!

Come out if you live in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We’ll be folding zines and putting them together with whistles that have been donated for free speech and community safety.

Take some to distribute!
