My dear friend Pinback got a little into Pac-Man the last month. Well, the madman created a free-to-download, arcade-accurate version of Pac that he calls "Booze Elroy," after the characteristic of Blinky pursuing Pac (named "Cruise Elroy" in this mode.) It's out today.

Dev started 15 Dec 1996, and ended on 14 Jun 2011 - 5,294 days. 5,295 days from that was 13 Dec 2025. #AlwaysBetonDuke

Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

How do penguins eyes focus on land AND at sea? Seeing in the water requires more rounded, concave eyes like fish have (see: "fish-eye lens"). Penguins have flattened corneas and rely on strong eye muscles to change the shape of their lens, bulging them out to be more convex to focus while underwater

He was fitted with tiny custom skates. When he died, he was stuffed and displayed in the team trophy case. He was replaced with another penguin, named Re-Pete.
