Of all the things someone’s gotta say, this is the thing someone’s gotta say the least.
I feel like someone’s gotta say something, so I guess it’s going to be me. I’m 100% certain that I either know, have met, or have sought meetings with people who have done horrible things in their lives, too. How about y’all? Association is not causation, and it's not guilt — of anything. (1/8)

Q is gonna be sooo embarrassed
It makes you sound crazy to say this out loud, but it's becoming increasingly clear that the United States government has been effectively toppled by a group of overt pedophiles
Barely a few hours after President Donald Trump named him as the next nominee to chair the Federal Reserve, Kevin Warsh was revealed to be in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case files.

Do they fight every roadie that comes on stage?
There are a lot of daily horrors, I know, but also there is a popular band called goose and a totally unrelated popular band called geese, and this just causes me no end of delight.

This is I guess the best thing you can do *now* but I refuse to believe that he wasn’t aware that being one of only 7 people that turned the tide toward the republican vote would result in backlash, let alone on this topic. Not one talk with his colleagues?
Tom Suozzi, one of the 7 House Dems who voted for the DHS bill: "I failed to view the DHS funding vote as a referendum on the illegal and immoral conduct of ICE in Minneapolis... I have long been critical of ICE’s unlawful behavior and I must do a better job demonstrating that."

Since July, I've tracked at least 2,300 cases in which federal judges have ruled ICE has illegally detained people without bond or due process.

This is one that stands out:

It's cold, people are hungry, and the federal government has tried attacking SNAP benefits as part of their occupation of MN. Food banks are incredibly efficient in getting food to those in need. Direct donations are the best way to support, so here's that link again:

All of this is fucking senseless. Minnesota did not have an immigration problem. Trump sent his Nazi thugs here because he's racist against Somali people and to own libs like Tim Walz. Now two Minnesotans are dead and Minneapolis is on the verge of going up in flames. None. Of. This. Was. Necessary.

The 2026 Homeland Security funding bill that the House is voting on this week is an easy NO for me. It’s a blank check with no accountability for DHS’s outrageous abuses.

I cannot tell you how absolutely infuriatingly this stuff comes across to Europeans.

When we say America is no longer a reliable ally, it goes considerably deeper than Donald Trump himself. This kind of complacent, condescending shit is a *huge* part of it.

"We had run almost 1,000 simulations, and between $3 and $4 is a fair number if you can have access to that food. I just saw new numbers that were run: a full day, meaning 3 full square meals and a snack, is about $15.64."

We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King.

This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.

If you live in the Cities, an easy way to help immigrant families in hiding is: laundry! Laundromats are ICE magnets, so people without washers need help.

The People’s Laundry will drop off laundry to your door to wash and dry and pick up a few days later:

I must disagree with Tim Walz's theory that "Trump wants a show."

A more straightforward explanation is that he wants violent repression of immigrants, nonwhite people, and anyone who stands with them. Which is why he's doing that.

It's making a show. Lying down and taking it wouldn't change that.
You've been on this same schtick for over a month now, while things have gotten progressively worse for your constituents.

Leadership is hard! Might be worth trying some time anyway though?

What, exactly, is more angles of ICE’s crimes supposed to get us?
House Republicans have proposed requiring the Trump administration to spend money on body cameras for ICE agents as part of the Department of Homeland Security funding bill lawmakers are currently negotiating, according to a senior GOP appropriator.
