Ultimately, the Left won't embrace AI because rather than salesmen and financiers, the left is composed of professionals, lawyers and educators who read the way AI misrepresents our expertise and conclude all its answers are equally fraught with error. When you don't know anything, AI feels smart.

Somewhere there is an awesome level of village building where people in community care for one another that intersects with an awesome level of “if someone else’s choices have nothing to do with you, mind your own business” and I feel like as a society we are way off base on both.
