Personally, I think it's a bad thing when people in the government post AI images without disclosing that they're AI.

Image on the left is something RFK Jr. posted today. Image on the right is a photo from 2024.

Let’s not give them short shrift. Sometimes they do radio
It would be so nice if we had a Congress whose members did something besides appear on talk shows.

the invasion of Afghanistan is among the most horrific recent chapters of the long history of elite impunity in the US. this coda is grim but fitting - the govt practically explicitly affirming that it should only be Afghans who live with the consequences amid fading public memory of the atrocity
It didn’t even take 6 hours.

The Trump administration effectively says that no one should ever work with Americans during wartime; that our promises mean nothing, our word is dust, and we will throw our allies under the bus the moment we want.

In any future armed conflict, who would ever trust us again?

I'd say these guys need to be running the country but they seem to be exactly where they need to be
this is not our customer service number. it’s just my voicemail inbox.

you’re welcome to call. i hope you do.

Reuters reached out to everyone that Trump or his subordinates singled out publicly for retribution, and reviewed hundreds of official orders, directives and public records. The result: the most comprehensive accounting yet of his campaign of payback.

worst forest/trees problem in generations is that a canto is A SECTION OF A LONG POEM. THAT'S IT. YOU DIDN'T WRITE A CANTO BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT THE WORD LOOKED COOL ON YOUR MEMOIR. CANTOS ARE POEMS. THAT LANGUAGE IS DYNAMIC DOES NOT MAKE YOUR SLAMBOOK A CANTO AMERICAN OR OTHERWISE
