We are going to vote for Trump's terrible megabill. But we'd like a little credit for pretending we weren't going to for a few days.

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

The most depressing part of Biden's loss is that he pursued the most left wing agenda possible, his economy increased wealth for the bottom quintile like no one has ever before.

When this resulted in private burrito taxis getting more expensive, Americans rage knew no bounds.

Chuck Schumer gave a lot of House and Senate Democrats cover with his vote to keep the government open. Pretty smart to make the outrage channel towards one person. They made the right decision to keep the government open. The alternative would have been much much worse.

It isn't the legal stuff the GOP is able to get through Congress that concerns me. It is the "we will just ignore laws and Congress and courts and do what we want stuff" that worries me. And passing or not passing things in Congress won't fix that, which is why I can't get worked up over the CR.

We just walked out of the state of the Union. My shirt showed Trump an important message: NO KINGS LIVE HERE.

In the spirit of student protestors from the Civil Rights Movement, I’m proud to have protested and walked out with many of my colleagues. This is NOT a normal time.

I think Americans have to understand things won't go back to normal and no one is coming to save us. The self destructive decision to vote for Trump is going to cause long term pain, damage and weakness. We have to survive and try to rebuild something better. Generational effort sadly.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Dear #MAGA

when they cut your Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, and SNAP, when they take away your overtime & unemployment benefits & cut your wages, when your food is no longer safe to eat, know that we liberals/Dems weren't fighting against you, we were fighting for you.

(1/X) The next four years are likely to be a disaster in many regards: more plane crashes, more outbreaks of measles and other infectious diseases, snafus with tax refunds and Medicaid payments, terrorist attacks, and probably a recession.

The media will tell us none of it is Trump's fault...

There are a number of progressive accounts who are cheering on a consistent attack, not on Trump, not on his authoritarian behavior, but on Hakeem Jeffries, and the Democrats.

Why is that?

Why are some of you more mad at Hakeem than you are AT HIM??

One enduring problem with the American electorate is how millions of people convinced themselves the government plays no role in their economic situation except to tax and to hinder them while giving money to undeserving people.
“Many farmers voted for Trump [b/c] he promised less regulation and greater prosperity for America’s farmers. The hard truth … like most of the folks who voted for Trump, farmers failed to do their homework about the reality” of the Trump regime.

What betting on the farm & losing looks like. 😬
