Whenever I go after the Left someone replies "I'm on the Left and that doesn't describe me." My answer is, Fine, then I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about those Leftists it DOES describe. With that in mind:

Out of curiosity, since there is no evidence the GOP was EVER going to make a deal, and the choice was always the Dems "caving" eventually or keeping the government shut until 2027, if not now at what point should the Dems have "given in?"

I agree with Texas Paul. I never believed the Dems had leverage, either earlier this year or now, that would force the GOP to make a deal, and so "caving" was inevitable. The point, to the extent there was one, was to make clear where the GOP stood to those too dim to figure it out without being

If you don't hate him there is something wrong with you.
I recall the orange convicted felon once saying people would stand in long lines begging for food if Kamala Harris became President.
Now in 2025 people are seen in Cleveland and other cities standing in long lines for food due to his cruelty.
Endless projection. I hate him.

Sen. Ron Wyden is calling out the GOP for pushing to slip a nationwide backdoor abortion ban into the government funding bill. This is dangerous for women’s health care. We’ve already seen the consequences in states like TX, but I guess the GOP is intent on The Handmaid’s Tale.

I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.
It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.

Video on social media shows an immigration agent pulling a gun in Little Village and holding it to the side — which is not an appropriate or safe way to hold a gun. (Among other issues.)

Congrats to those who refused to vote for Kamala over Gaza. You not only didn't help a single Palestinian but you helped kill vastly more people than have died in Gaza.

This guy is so f'n stupid.

It’s no big surprise that ICE is not returning jewelry, phones, and documents taken from citizens and undocumented immigrants. They have no system to store it, and ICE are criminals.

Every story about ICE should start with how untrustworthy they are.
No ballistic evidence. No one hit. No injuries. No damage from gunfire. Local cops can’t find a “crime scene.” DHS claims shots were fired. I don’t believe them. chicago.suntimes.com/immigration/...

The Chicago Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at federal agents in the 2500 block of South Kedzie Avenue Saturday morning, police said.
