#HeinekenUK announced today it's reducing the alcohol content of Foster's Lager 3.7% to 3.4% claiming this is to meet "demands for a more health-conscious lifestyle." No mention of the fortune it will save on duty! In Feb it also reduced the ABV of Sol to 3.4% while increasing Draught prices by 2.9%

That vibe of when you can afford to buy your own media empire but don’t want to pay more in taxes …
The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Face scanning was deployed at the Notting Hill Carnival however.
This claim is baffling. The Met have witnessed many violent far right protests. It was obvious participants would be up for a scrap.

Ever drink beer so good that it reminds you how bad beer can be?

Had some excellent pints last night at the Woodman, Bull and Wellie. But it made me realise I've been putting up with average beer other places recently 😔

This is getting very dark, very quick.

Imagine being such a sociopath you can't imagine why someone would try and retrieve *their brother's body.*

Doubly so when you know how the IDF defile corpses with tanks.
"“It’s hard for me to understand why he [did that] and it also doesn’t really interest me,” Raab says in a video interview posted on X. “I mean, what was so important about that corpse?”"
IDF sniper from Chicago who says he killed Gazan teenager just for trying to retrieve his brother's corpse: “They’re thinking, ‘Oh I don’t think [I’ll get shot] because I’m wearing civilian clothes and I am not carrying a weapon' and all that, but they were wrong. That’s what you have snipers for.”
