As mentioned MANY times previously, academic institutions remain deeply political by claiming not to be. Inaction is preferred that allows abuse (and abusers) to thrive. It diminishes reputations, harms research, and often causes very real damage and dangers. As is certainly the case here. Shameful.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

I'm halfway through the show. It is incredibly well done - acting is incredible, the camera work (one take for each of the 4 episodes), and the script itself feels very real. It is a hard watch; the issues young people face are real and it's a more stressful world for them than it ever was for me.
