Before I went to shower, I tidied up a bit. I dropped something that rolled behind the couch on my way to the kitchen. I leaned down to pick it up and caught the top of my head on the corner of the shelf behind the couch. 🤦🏻♀️ Pain, blood, a cut, a bump. Hurt to wash my hair when I got in the shower.

It's just the tedium, I suppose. There's a lot of hurry up and wait going on. There's basically ALWAYS an issue that slows us down (not blaming people. Sometimes it IS the other trainees not understanding, but most of times it's just glitches

I went into the spare room earlier to get something, and when I opened the door, it fell off. 😮The two screws on the top hinge pulled right out of the jamb.
I had to fight to get it propped up out of the way (the bottom hinge is intact). I wonder how long it'll take to get the landlady to fix that.

It was so windy, every last walnut has finally fallen from the tree in my yard. Considering I've already hauled 4 cartloads* of nuts and debris to the back of my property just this week, I'm very happy to know the end is in sight!
*It's a 15 gallon cart!

On the upside to this mess of a day...

This morning is a scheduled power outage in my neck of the woods for some system upgrades. Unfortunately it's also like 38 degrees, so I'm currently huddled under the covers in bed to stay warm. 🥶 Wish I'd put that new thermal mug to work and filled it up with coffee before the power went out. 🤦🏻♀️
