Just being me, as that's the only way to be.

Left because I believe in kindness and decency. Will never, ever support Labour again after the horror they've unleashed. They're an evil, far-right party.

Yesssss! You tell 'em Council of Europe!
#UK #Transrights The council of Europe has - rightfully - put the UK on par with Hungary, Poland and Turkey regarding its hostility towards the trans community. gcn.ie/uk-council-e...
@bphillipsonmp.bsky.social No ally would've handed the top EHRC spot to someone who puts Sex Matters on speed dial.
UK condemned as "country of concern" for Trans people by Council of Europe
A new resolution by the Council of Europe places the UK alongside Poland, Hungary and Turkey as a country of hostility for the queer community.

I think this week we've learned one of the key facets of Starmerism: we can't afford democracy. That's a heck of a pitch to the electorate.

"Vote for us! If we let you vote at all..."

- rising in the polls
- focused on tackling the cost of living
- and genuinely democratic

Almost every prominent 'gender critical' is justifying the execution of people in the street, saying they 'provoked' ICE.

For years, they categorised trans protests of their meetings (like making noise and banging on windows) as the worst crimes imaginable.

These people are moral vacuums.

Things you don't hear much in 2026: "Actually, Keir is probably the most left-wing member of his team."

'Here is clarifying language for older people, it lies about trans people and who they are, and everyone knows that and the harm it causes is the point.'
I’m really quite surprised at the BBC website today. ‘Here is a video, some people say it does not show what it very obviously shows’ is not how you report this.

I've just used Good Law Project's tool to email MPs on the Council of Europe and let them know they don’t have to bend down to Sex Matter’s transphobic threats.
The more they hear from us, the harder it’ll be for them to ignore us. goodlaw.social/9f10d1
Stop Sex Matters infiltrating the Council of Europe
In just one week, the Council of Europe will be voting to ban conversion therapy. This would be an incredibly important step to stop the rollback in the rights of LGBTQ+ people. But Sex Matters is inf...

Exactly. Haidt's ideas amount to, "Strip children of their rights and freedoms because FEAR," and our politics is almost entirely about fear and moral panic at this point. This isn't just the worst government we've had but the worst Parliament, and the obsession with fear and moral panic is why.

Great piece on “airport book brain” - the tendency of politicians to swallow simplistic solutions. Latest example the Jonathan Haidt book shaping policy on teens and social media
