One thing that shows you how bad ICE’s tactics are — ACTUAL cops are among the most vocal and biting in criticizing them.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."

It's time to identify those 23 people and begin the pressure on them. This administration will not stop, even if the courts order it. That much is clear.
Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.

I have watched the video several times and genuinely can't understand why they started shooting. Even if he was armed, owning a gun is legal in the US and it doesn't appear the man being beaten by masked agents was reaching for it. I hope we get to see a ton of these guys go to prison.

All of my friends back in Minneapolis are posting about how many layers they're putting on to go protest in -15° weather today. Some friends I've never seen get out and march. This administration fucked with the wrong state. I'm so damn proud of Minnesota 💙

Attended a vigil for Renee Good this evening in Vienna. Minneapolis — the place I called home for over ten years — will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where I served as a police officer and worked to make the community safer. Seeing it now resemble a militarized zone is heartbreaking.

What if I told you that the United States already had a treaty obligation for the mutual defense of Greenland should it come under attack.
Leavitt: "The president was very clear last night. He said he wants to the US acquire Greenland because he feels that if we do not, then it will eventually be acquired or perhaps even hostilely taken over by China or Russia.
