Nothing better than coming home from "vacation," which was a 2 week mentally exhausting course, to a pile of clingy cats for #Caturday

Honored to attend the Arm Women Now exhibit at OSCE today. Women defending Ukraine need tailored uniforms and armor for effective, safe fighting. Ill-fitting gear restricts movement and protection. Properly fitted kit lets women be the strongest defenders.

This might be the worst sports supplement marketing I've ever seen. In what world do you look at trump and think that's a physique to aspire to?

I feel sad for those who don't get to enjoy Caturday snuggling with 3 big greys

August slipped away into a moment in time...but not before crushing my reading list. Enjoyed my last full month of reading for pleasure before my PhD program starts. 📚 #BooksofBlueSky

Swapped the barbell for running shoes this morning & celebrated Ukraine's Independence Day only way I never thought I would - running a 5km 🏃‍♀️

Had the best company running with my Ukrainian coworkers (and close friends) in celebration of Ukraine. 🇺🇦

З Днем Незалежності, Україна. разом до перемоги!

Oh to be two foster fails turned grey chonks cuddling with their mom during Saturday morning coffee. (The one grey chonk asks that you ignore her ugly buzz cut to remove furballs).

This morning, I was driven to the train station in Lviv at 2am during curfew by the border guards. This blanket was on the seats of their duty vehicle 💔 we used to be a proper country

While Hegseth continues to attack the service of women in our military, here in Ukraine, they've woken up to the reality that you have to make use of the operational capabilities of all of society. When you're fighting for the very existence of your country, that requires recruiting women as well.

My job can be immensely frustrating. I'll admit, some days, I miss the action of being a police officer back home in the States. But today was not one of those days. What an absolute privilege it was to visit one of Ukraine’s BCPs & do a training assessment for the State Border Guard Service. 🇺🇦🛃

Each time I come to Lviv, I make a point of visiting the cemetery for fallen defenders. It has doubled in size since I visited last summer. It's hard to look at this growing cemetery, which was an empty field pre-war, and not think we have failed Ukraine in their fight against russian aggression. 🇺🇦

Lviv - life hums along, cafés full, kids laughing, trams going by. But war is stitched into every corner: fundraiser jars in coffee shops, recruitment posters, signs to weave camo nets. At 9am, the city falls silent to honor the fallen. Ukraine has adapted to this new normal but shouldn't have to.

The Baltics are so underrated. Hopped on the bus in Riga and ventured north to Pärnu, Estonia 🇪🇪 what a great little city

Texas may have been the finest portion of the globe when Sam Houston was alive (and was with Governor Ann Richards) but not anymore
I wish everyone could get the experience of going to a Texas history museum with my liberal mom and me for the lib commentary 🤌
