Flickr was glorious. Bring back those good ol days. It’s not like the website has been updated much since then anyway!
Everyone on Instagram is talking about how they're joining "Cara" which is understandable because of Meta's great new stance on AI but not understandable due to Cara definitely not being ready for "prime time". I think we should all go back to Flickr. Flickr was always better than Instagram.

I made a long, long comic about AI and my toddler. It's a repudiation of techno-solipsism and it’s in The New Yorker.

I’m a little earlier and absolutely loved both but the “stop all the downloadin” is way more culturally present than the original material.
I’m part of a micro-generation of people who were too young for the original G.I. Joe cartoon, but were the perfect age to have PORKCHOP SANDWICHES seared into our minds forever.

Hey, Bluesky, are any of y'all film photographers? Respond to this with something you've shot on film so we can find each other!

This rather sucks: apparently the company behind Libby/Overdrive (which is the dominant way to access ebooks etc. through your local library) is now in the hands of the vulture capitalists who took down Toys R’Us.

And signs of enshittification are already showing.
