Ink drawing with pencil colours on white paper. A lion - yes, a lion, it doesn't really look like a lion but it is a lion - takes centre stage here. It's a rather human-ish lion: stood upright on two legs and wearing a blue tracksuit top, like all humans. While most of the lion is stood in a standard upright pose, its back legs are at a 5 o'clock position, standing on the side of a hill. Its looong arms hold an old black and white school photo - the ones with all the class - no real details can be seen, just rows of children and, intriguingly, one person has been circled. Oh, the lion's head - absolutely enormous oval orange mane, and a little yellow face in the middle with sharp teeth, quite reptilian eyes and a humanish nose. Blue Wintery trees in the background. The hill the lion is stood on is one of three, which are all yellow, orange, gold and white striped. The hill nearest us is the tallest and a pleasingly smooth hole runs through the top of it.

A new drawing, along with a photo showing the back of a tattered poster in a bus shelter, which inspired the drawing.
Ink drawing with pencil colours. The background is a wall made up of lots of grey shapes, a bit like a dull lava lamp I suppose, or a black and white lava lamp from the 1950s. In front of this grey wall are two figures. In front, a person faves the wall and has their arms outstretched in front, creating red swirls, like the opening of a portal. The person's clothes are all varying shades of brown, topped with an orange hat. Behind the person, and twice as big, floats some kind of supernatural thing. It has a vaguely stoat-like head but with two differently shaped striped horns instead of ears, and a little beard. No limbs. The body is like a floating cloak or cape with lots of different sections, each a different shade of green. They two figures cast red shadows on the grey floor below them. A photo I took of a bus shelter while sat in a bus. The main focus is the back of a small poster stuck on the shelter's glass. It is torn here and there, and the shapes formed by the torn sections are what inspired the figures in my drawing.

Government just voted against a €400 emergency payment to disabled people who are €1400 worse off since the budget.
This isn't the end. We keep fighting.

New ME/CFS + fibromyalgia study:

Patients had higher “OPRM1” DNA methylation (a gene control tag that can reduce gene activity, how on or off genes are).

This supports the idea the body’s own opioid pain-control system may be altered in these illnesses.
