Hi! I'm one of the millions not getting SNAP benefits this month.

Good news! Puff does not currently have pancreatis. There are signs she had it in the past but not at the moment. She has been eating well, and when she goes to her September glucose check they will also do some additional blood work.

Every short story writer I know has now walked from Analog, Asimov’s, F&SF, Hitchcock’s, and Ellery Queen magazines, some pulling stories already licensed.
The new contracts are terrible. Read that list again. This has gutted the market for short genre fiction.
