Even better: many of these folks, most notably JA, have made ostentatious shows of loyalty to the Trump administration. And if the previous Trump admin is any guide, Trump’s approval will only drop further between now and Nov 2026.

Since MTG has resigned, the GOP House majority will go from 219 to 218 come January. There's a TN-07 special election in December that can bring that number to 217.
