I’m back in your screens, talking about Allie 🫶🏻 and the importance of doing real things we know can save lives, like using tech and street design to slow drivers. 🚗

It’s why we’re walking on Nov 16 to honor victims and call for slowing down. #StopSuperSpeeders

Hey DC cat caregivers: Any of you have experience with cat urinary issues or FIC have recs for vets and/or emergency hosp that are attentive to this issue?

My cat is still able to go but tries to do it frequently and at times seems in pain. Vet's answer ystdy was prozac, which I am not sure is it.

Few days late but wanted to be sure to shout out this great convo I had with Ashton Rohmer, who points out that all the deaths and damage that flows from car culture isn't dissimilar from the horrors of war, and what it would mean to apply "peace building" strategies to urbanism.
Our Streets Look Like War Zones — But What if They Were 'Sites of Peacebuilding' Instead? — Streetsblog USA
A peace and conflict studies scholar weighs in on what car culture has in common with global conflicts — and why we need to confront violence on our roads if we want to end violence around the globe.

New to me: Google now tells you where to board your Metrorail train for "the fastest exit." 👀

Will also never fully win memorizing which way is Shady Grove vs Glenmont.
