If the U.S. is going to conduct gunboat diplomacy, I'd hope the long-suffering people of Venezuela would at least get from it a fighting chance to regain their place among democratic nations. Yet Trump kicks to the curb Maria Corina Machado's opposition party, which won the election Maduro stole.

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.
When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.

This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.

Every time politics come up and I bring up X or Y crazy shit that Trump or his admin has done recently they just straight up do not believe me or assume I am exaggerating because they figure they would have heard about it.
