What if you could do a bunch of lab tests at home anytime with no needles? Ask me about it!

I listen to boring, droning, music, and bike a lot to stay happy.
I comment on politics and culture to ruin all that.
Bike lanes are like curb cuts. Their story is bigger than the name or initial intention implies. Learn about how many folks, not just disabled people, benefit from curb cuts and know that bike lanes do much the same!

Streets are for people, not just cars.

I am listening to He Said ~ Hail very loud and practically having an out of body experience.

Amazing that you can just stream this on most platforms if you don't own a copy, so go do that.

If you want to know why Mike Johnson is sending congress home without addressing healthcare, it’s because the guy he mistakenly thinks of as hubs boss doesn’t want to address the healthcare cliff millions of Americans (like me) are falling from.
Q: “Do you want Congress to extend these ACA subsidies?”

Trump: “Well, I'd like not to be able to do it…I don't know why we have to extend.”

This is important cost information for members of congress who have no balls to stand up to an authoritarian president.

Since electric cars are woke, we're doing war for oil again.
Trump: "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled ... It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the USA all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us."

A deeply dangerous — and blatantly retaliatory action against Colorado — by the Trump administration.

NCAR is one of the most renowned scientific facilities in the WORLD — where scientists perform cutting-edge research everyday.

We will fight this reckless directive with every legal tool we have.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

I know it’s not obvious or cut and dried to call out racism when eg. an administration official goes on tv with Nazi attire, but what is this policy if not racism? What is it?
The US Administration has banned Americans from *adopting babies* from much of the African continent.

Adopting.

Babies.

What trait do those babies have that, when they grow up as fully American adults, would make them a threat to our country in any form?
On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

When we (overpay) that is, buy new, higher-end sport bikes, we're often happy with our purchases, if anything just to justify have spend so darned much!

So it's great to see this validation of my choices (at least for the updated version) of my Revel Rascal!

The dollar is down nearly 20% compared to the Euro this year.

And despite this discount, European tourism has plummeted.

These people ostensibly work for the US public, but it's quite clear they hate the US public, and view it as an impediment to their dreams of cosplaying tough law-and-order types.
ICE pepper-sprayed this 1-year-old girl.

Once at the hospital, the doctor had to call in a poison control specialist.

They had never seen anyone that young pepper sprayed.

Another horrific story.

We live in an America in which kids are going through their second school shooting. What has changed to address this tragedy? (Hint: nothing. Half the voting population won’t lift a finger for fear it will limit their 2A rights. Guns are more important to them than children.

Listen, fashion choices aren’t exactly the biggest problem but I ask you, dear fellow citizens, but who voted for Trump, what am I supposed to think of Bovino’s belt across chest nod to Nazis. Am I not supposed to notice the similarity? What do you think he was going for with that choice?

State’s rights!*

A thing I thought conservative patriots cared about. I guess, until they saw what they could achieve with an authoritarian they happen to agree with.
NEW: President Donald Trump says he is granting a pardon to Tina Peters, who was convicted on state charges related to tampering with Colorado's election systems. Legal experts say presidential pardons do not apply to state charges.

A long held opinion of mine (since 2024) is that virtually no democratic candidate you can name now has a chance at the presidency. Not a white man, a black woman, a gay man...it doesn't matter.

Trump was, to a large part, elected as a someone outside the establishment (I know that's dumb). 1/2
