🚨BREAKING:

We just learned that the court in my lawsuit — Neguse et al. v. ICE — has temporarily stopped the Trump administration from blocking Members of Congress from unannounced oversight visits to immigration detention facilities.

The rule of law will prevail.
🚨 ICYMI: Earlier this month, @naturalresources.bsky.social Subcommittee on Federal Lands held a hearing on my legislation, the Wildfire Risk Evaluation Act.

Grateful to our local partners in Grand County & across the Western Slope for helping us get this bill across the finish line!

Healthcare subsidies for millions of Americans will expire in less than 72 hours.

Instead of acting, House Republicans spent the last few weeks pushing a plan that would kick over 100,000 people off their health care each year.

Shameful.

It was a privilege to honor outstanding volunteers, educators, and citizens across Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District at our annual service awards ceremony earlier this month.

Grateful for their dedication to improving our community, each and everyday!

In the days after the Trump administration’s outrageous and reckless announcement to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research, I worked to build a bipartisan coalition of over 100 lawmakers committed to protecting NCAR.

And we won’t back down!

Healthcare tax credits for working families expire in 5 days.

Republicans refuse to extend them.

Earlier this month I asked a Republican Congressman a simple question -- why can't his constituents have the same health care coverage he does?

Grateful to host office hours with folks this week in Fort Collins, including with Colorado’s State Forester.

The pine beetle outbreak threatens forests across the front range — from Fort Collins to Douglas & El Paso counties — and I’ll do everything I can to support the state’s response.

At a time when performative politics has become the norm, we’ve tried to do something different:

To show up — everywhere.
To listen.
And to deliver results.

We hosted events in 50 different cities this year — including yesterday in Timnath.

And we’re just getting started!

Proud to build and lead a bipartisan coalition with Rep. Jeff Hurd and @bennet.senate.gov & @hickenlooper.senate.gov — joined by more than 80 of our colleagues in the House and Senate — to protect NCAR in the FY26 NSF appropriations bill.

We will not stop until NCAR is protected — period.

We defeated Republican efforts to exempt gun silencers from regulation earlier this year.

But their tax giveaway for gun transfers will soon take effect.

Today, I introduced a bill to stop it — and to use the $1.7 billion in savings for Medicare instead!

From wildfire warnings to flood forecasts, NCAR's research impacts everyone in America.

President Trump's attempt to dismantle it for political vengeance is beyond reckless.

We will fight against this dangerous scheme every step of the way.
