To me, the Christmas message is that we should care for the needy and vulnerable. I don't understand people who think it means we should smash the car windows of immigrants, tear-gas neighborhoods and zip-tie children.
May federal agents lose their masks and find their souls.

"but liberals are worse" is the refrain I get.

When asked "how?" it's always harrumphing and deflecting.

• they're all bad, so it doesn't matter

My parents do not. Every time politics come up and I bring up X or Y crazy shit that Trump or his admin has done recently they just straight up do not believe me or assume I am exaggerating because they figure they would have heard about it. They aren't "pricing it in", they are straight up ignorant

The CBS investigation portrays a modern concentration camp, similar to the Soviet GULAG (like CECOT, an acronym): sadistic guards, 24 hour lighting, isolation cells.
Americans once opposed this inhumane system.
The Trump administration sent innocent people there to suffer.
The full spiked 60 Minutes CECOT package, clean & subtitled. 1/5

Fwiw I think the “apologize for being white” thing is very clearly about making sure white people don’t feel an obligation to alleviate past injustices or make society fairer. Ultimately to do that you have to raise taxes and the billionaires holding Vance’s leash don’t want that.
