The fact that both are quite experienced—8 years and 12 years with CBP—is yet more evidence that CBP should be abolished and all of its agents fired. There's no way to "reform" or "retrain" that, it's just a violent gang with badges.

After they killed Renee Good I went to a protest. Midway through a young person started an organic chant of "All Cops are Bastards" and I saw an old man look around as if he wanted to say "Cut it out! They're not the bad guys here. I didn't sign up for this."

This is likely true, but unfortunately, the Democrats decided to forego a primary and ran Joe Biden until the wheels fell off. Then Kamala Harris paraded around the Cheneys for a few months. Even now, Chuck Schumer is giving us a glimpse of what a Dem admin would look like: weak and cowardly.
If Kamala had been elected Minneapolis would not have been turned into a war zone where people are gunned down in the streets.

ICE activity has not noticeably tapered off yet here and in fact this week they seem to be focused on terrorizing kids at bus stops and schools.
yes, there are no real signs of any big change in DHS activity here yet. In Chicago there really was after Bovino left and they basically ended "Midway Blitz" not so here so far.
I don’t know, declaring victory in MN seems premature. They’re still arresting people and brutalizing the community. The changes appear—so far—to be cosmetic
