Correct, and I would say this is down to a person. They’re snatching people at work, off manufacturing lines, off of rooftops, in kitchens, at daycares. It would be difficult to do this in a more alienating and unpopular way if you tried (which is probably the point).
Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable.

The E Line has shaved a full 10 minutes off my commute, the buses are clean and warm (including during the mega freeze), and the pay-before-you-board thing is transformational. So excited that Minnesota has gone in on bus rapid transit like we have, it’s really so much better.

The E Line has shaved a full 10 minutes off my commute, the buses are clean and warm (including during the mega freeze), and the pay-before-you-board thing is transformational. So excited that Minnesota has gone in on bus rapid transit like we have, it’s really so much better.
