The brand white liberal I can't fucking stand is the person who will say all the right buzz words: anti-racist, pro-LGBTQ+, BLM, and all that. But when you look at their social media posts, they only have white cishet friends. and they don't hire or support marginalized people at all.

Feels like a decade ago seats at cafes were nicer to sit on, still similar seats but it feels different for some reason, can't tell if I was getting older or not. Please #cafes make more comfortable seats for thosew who want to chill, read, write on laptops etc. #writingcommunity

PSA: if you ever need a meal and can't afford one and don't want to jump through these hoops, fund a gurdwara. They are obligated to feed you for free with no strings attached
They're all charlatans. On one occasion I visited a soup kitchen in Albuquerque mini years ago because I was in need. The requirement to enter the food line was to get knee bound and accept Jesus into your heart. I very politely refused to do so, and they told me I should find someplace else to eat.

If you have “a cold” or “the flu” right now, covid is surging in the US. Try to get tested, and if you’re positive, get paxlovid, which can decrease the severity of the acute symptoms and reduce the odds of your getting long covid.

White people can move the needle if they want. Y'all got Jimmy Kimmel back on the air boycotting, you can throw some of that expendable income to support the vulnerable through mutual aid, you can make some moves against fascism instead of performatively bemoaning what you think doesn't affect you.
