Just throwing this out there, but for any queer folks in Texas that want to get married and face obstacles from a JP or a county judge, I can legally marry you and your partner. I've been an ordained minister in Texas since 2019.
I love this, and fuck any judge that takes advantage of that Texas Supreme Court ruling to deny anyone. I'm an ordained minister and I will conduct any Small or Big Gay Wedding in Texas.

yes, I think that there absolutely should be some kind of "partial minor" legal status that kicks in around age 12 or so and entitles children to some level of financial leverage over their parents
