If you saw today's headline that Gallup will stop measuring presidential approval, they did the same thing in 2018. They do it whenever Trump is president.

Such a bad news day. We should be investing more in public transit. It's the real way to cut emissions and make life more affordable for families.

Chuck Schumer is without a doubt one of the most effective Republicans in Congress.

Which is why we should really demand that he resign as Democratic Minority Leader.
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

This is the best post I've seen on how to talk about transit vs. car infrastructure and their budget allocations.
Car infrastructure is like 200,000,000 of this year's 500,000,000 capital spending plan. Drivers pay $7 million in fees compared to transit riders fees and area rates to pay for transit that recoup something like $70 million.

Proof billionaires are not THAT smart: When you hollow out the middle (having the ultra rich get richer at the expense of a middle class) you get a breakdown in society. Something that will impact them as well.

Thinking long-term would help, thinking in "generations" would be transformational.
While the billionaire class gets obscenely richer, two-thirds of Americans say a middle-class lifestyle is out of reach , and a majority can’t afford decent education, housing or a secure retirement.

In the richest country on Earth, we can, and must, do better.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.
