Rubio… the guy who was confirmed on a 99-0 vote.
BREAKING: After a federal judge issued an injunction ending the refugee resettlement funding freeze, Rubio just started terminating all of the contracts. Judge Jamal Whitehead issues a follow-on injunction tonight ordering the terminated agreements reinstated unless Rubio actually follows the law.

When I was in the USAF and had a TS Clearance I almost went to prison for 5 years for being a threat to national security because I was gay. Didn't disclose secrets, didn't do anything. Just EXISTED. Yet these fools just breached our national security and it's "just another day at the office."

Logged onto twitter and saw that a young journalist I've been following for the last year and a half has been killed, via his final message posted on his behalf by his community. Was a primary source of news for so many. I recall many times over the last months feeling relief that he was still alive

I learned a lot about undocumented students’ rights through researching this article. There is a lot Districts can do to protect these kids.

Now that ICE agents have the green light to conduct operations at or near schools, school playgrounds, and bus stops, the @aclupa.org & @edlawcenter.bsky.social sent letters to Pennsylvania school districts outlining the law and best practices to protect students' rights from potential ICE overreach

I was going to post about this earlier — in the 1950s, “integration” was the same scapegoat for *everything* that DEI has become today. The same scapegoating was deployed even earlier for abolition, and then later for multiculturalism. Different codewords, same racism.
